Who we are

This website is operated by UAB “Rain Water Capital”, a company registered in Lithuania (Register of Legal Entities, company code 308155774), under the name rainwater.capital (“we”, “us”). We provide business management consulting and invest in and hold businesses, and we are the controller of your personal data.

What we collect and why

• When you contact us: your name, email address and what you write to us, so we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business.
• When we work together: contact and professional details, correspondence and the information needed for a consulting engagement or investment, including identity checks where the law requires them. Legal basis: performing our agreement, our legitimate interest in managing investments, and legal obligations such as accounting, tax and anti-money laundering rules.
• When you visit this website: our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use personal data for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (such as Cloudflare for hosting, and our email provider), professional advisers, other parties to a transaction you are part of, and authorities where the law requires. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact. Records of engagements and investments are kept while the relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as the law requires. Our hosting provider keeps technical data only for a short period.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@rainwater.capital and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt) or to the data protection authority where you live or work.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
